BrownBarry is a brand of Prime Apparel Exports — a GST- and MSME-registered business in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We supply women's ethnic wear to retailers across India, and we compete on one thing: being the easiest, most trustworthy company you buy from.
Founder Story
It started with how retailers were being treated.
BrownBarry was founded by Shadab, who spent time on the buying side of this trade and kept seeing the same pattern: retailers paying advances and then chasing suppliers for weeks. Samples that looked nothing like the bulk delivery. No invoice, no input credit, no accountability when something went wrong.
None of that is a product problem — it is a professionalism problem. So instead of building another supplier that competes only on price, we built a company around the things retailers actually lose sleep over: registration you can verify, terms published before you pay, communication that doesn't go silent, and a sample in your hands before you commit.

Somebody will always be cheaper. In wholesale ethnic wear, "cheaper" often comes bundled with opacity, delays, and disappearing acts. Our bet is simple: if we are the easiest supplier to deal with — clear terms, honest samples, proper invoices, reliable replies — retailers will build their business on us. That is why our prices are fair rather than lowest, why our policies are published rather than negotiated after the advance, and why we would rather lose an order than make a claim we can't keep.

Fabric & stitching review
Fabric quality and stitch integrity are reviewed against the approved sample standard for the collection.
Piece-level QC at dispatch
Orders are checked before packing so what reaches your store matches what you confirmed on WhatsApp.
7-day defect review
Manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery are reviewed for replacement or resolution. It's published policy, not a favour.
